Paul asked me where the name “blog” came from. I didn’t much like the name, I think because I fell into a cranberry “bog” as a child and almost drowned.
After some minor sleuthing, I found out it comes from a shortene3ing of “web log”. When first invented in 19995, “web logs” were more or less personal diaries published on the Internet.
Since then they have become a popular way of communication.
